We have all seen those long boring job posting describing the Role of Emergency Medical Technicians. If you have chosen this career field and need reminding of what we do then this might not be the place for you. Nah, we are too busy impacting lives and changing the world. What you will discover is that Advance Medical is not like any other Private EMS agency. We are weird and proud of it! What kind of weird might you ask???
  • Well, we hire for character, integrity and humor then train talent.
  • We LOVE our patients and they become our bonus families that we get to cheer them on in their journeys as they cheer us on in our Mission to leave our mark in this world just as they have done.
  • We actually like each other, well more like the way a dysfunctional family likes each other and teamwork isn't just a cute inspirational cat poster on the wall, we have each others backs during the most difficult times.
Here is the weirdest part...
  • We have our culture and philosophy that life is worth living with intention and purpose. What we do as Emergency Medical Technicians does not make us who we are, Who we are makes what we do that much better! You will not hear us claim "hero status", nah our heroes are the patients who are fighting for their lives everyday as they inspire and encourage us to better our best.
What are we looking for;

Full Time Emergency Medical Technicians- Basic
  • Honesty and Vulnerability to strive for greatness and grow as a human being.
    • We ask for help! This is why we Train! Our in house training center was developed to educate our team to care for some of the most critically ill patients that most do not get to experience in the Public EMS sector.
    • We ask for help! When the weight of the world seems overwhelming. We partner with resources to care for the ones who care for others. We take care of each other.
  • Eager to learn and willing to accept that you will never know it all.
    • Taking care of people is not optional nor is it limited based on your mood or ego. If this is your motto, we will chew you up and spit you out faster than the last Hurricane Do-Ryan
    • Quarterly self assessments and peer assessments ensure we never leave a team member behind
  • Desires to be apart of something larger than themselves.
    • If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you... Bettering your best is a requirement. Setting Goals is a must. Achieving Greatness is a bonus!
  • Hearts that can love pass the pain of grief to be that somebody someone needs at the time they need it the most. Our patient warriors are fighting a battle that they will always win! Victory lane is just on the other side of the world we cannot see. The Greatest gift you can give and the Greatest gift you will receive is.. LOVE ( in most cases not epi 1:10 and 360 shock)

  • 12hr rotation shifts with 7 days off consecutively every other week.
    • You must take time for yourself replenishing your soul, enjoying your family and friends.
