The Business Management (BM) team will be the single point of contact for all BM related activity that includes Workforce, Resource and Location Strategy, Leadership Support and Approval Governance. The Business Manager will also work in partnership with the Finance Business Partner on cost management priorities on behalf of their stakeholder.About Risk, Finance & Treasury (RFT) COORFT COO provides strategic and Subject Matter Expert (SME) direction and governance regarding the delivery of Processes, Technology, Operations and Programme Management for the Risk, Finance and Treasury functional groups.What will you be doing? • Be the right hand support to the AE to help deliver their day to day agenda and be the single point of accountability for both Finance and Business Management • Lead the Finance and Business Management partners for the business unit and provide overall leadership for the team• Strategic support to AE’s and their Management Team, owning activities including QBR’s, MBR’s, D&I people pillar, Service Management, SI portfolio management, Vendor management• Challenge the business, as required, where forecasts are not met• Lead on maintaining best-in-class, efficient and robust controls• As the team leader, set standards for high performance for the team.  Assume accountability for performance required to achieve goals and priorities.  What we’re looking for: • 4-year college degree or international equivalent  • 12+ years of experience in financial services with at least 5 years of experience as a Business Manager working with budgets, workforce planning, stakeholder service and process improvements• 5+ years of team management experienceSkills that will help you in the role: • Established and evidenced senior leadership credentials; proven ability to maintain energy and resilience within an organization throughout a period of change and/or against significant challenges• Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience (ACA/CIMA/CFA)• Experience in operating in a multi-geographic, matrix organization a plus, with proven ability to balance commercial, client, and regulatory needs across businesses and geographies• Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders with outstanding precision; ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels and geographies of the organization.Where will you be working?At Barclays, we are proud to be redefining the future of finance and here at Whippany we are defining the future of the workplace and the future of the way we work and live.
