The Manager, Ecommerce Category Activation is responsible for the development of strategies, frameworks and toolsets, and turning these strategies into actionable roadmaps to drive Ecommerce growth across existing and new categories. You will be responsible for pulling all Ecommerce levers tied to category roadmaps, activation plans and optimization of assortment, marketing and media initiatives across conversion focused platforms and ultimately responsible for both measurement of output. Your primary KPIs are accelerating topline, delivering financial commitments & outperforming the marketing by winning share.  The Manager, Ecommerce Category Activation will lead the charge in ensuring business and Ecommerce are driving decisions throughout the team. You will lead a cross-functional team responsible for the delivering of category performance across Ecommerce retail customers and platforms. You will drive a data-first mindset, enable a nimble approach and experiment to drive results. This leader will be the key pillar in the team’s day-to-day decision making and development of longer-term business strategy.  The Manager, Ecommerce Category Activation will understand Marketplace and Retailer strategies. The successful incumbent will be a subject matter expert in Ecommerce and understand how to drive in-market activation. You will eradicate internal and external barriers and create new processes to ensure in-market performance.YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop roadmaps and activation plans to drive performance across key categories for Bayer Lead cross-functional resources in the development and execution of roadmapsDevelop insightful growth stories and strategies by designing, conducting and implementing primary research and by mining syndicated research, synthesizing analytics, emerging trends, social media data, e-Commerce and prior research learning. Utilize multichannel expertise to offer actionable, fact-based, strategic, point of view to inform and when necessary challenge business decisions, and to inspire deeper understanding among all stakeholders. Listen to business challenges and translate to development of research approaches that will deliver actionable insights to the Customer and Category roadmap.Must be able to offer foresight rather than just insight, helping to shape the future through strategic thought leadership. Establish a “playbook” to help guide execution of strategies, including recommendations on how to prioritize capabilities and resources, including consumer experience Partner with the Bayer stakeholders to translate insights into category roadmaps. Partner with industry capability providers, and foster partnership with other like-minded organizations to drive scale and sustainable modelsCustomize and assist in presenting category presentations Collaboratively diagnose business challenges and issues, translating them into well-defined business questions that can be answered through in market learning. Mine data sources to identify growth opportunities and understand drivers of business performance. Organize and Visualize data in a meaningful and compelling way to draw insights and make recommendations.Participate in category strategy development and business planning processes. Develop and manages external partnership relationships.
