Great Performances seeks a VP of Administration to lead all administration functions at its corporate headquarters located in the South Bronx, NYC. This a full-time leadership position reports directly to the President but will work closely with the Founder and CEO. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of directing administrative functions of a corporation in accordance with industry standards, where applicable, regulatory agencies, as appropriate and company objectives and policies. This includes but is not limited to, HR, Legal, Recruitment & Staffing and IT. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's administration function and performance Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a tactical partner in evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning and regulatory action on the areas of responsibility Develop credibility for the administration group by providing timely and accurate analyses of budgets, project proposals and business trends in the multiple administrative areas in order to assist the President, Founder & CEO and other senior managers in performing their responsibilities Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation (the use of external, proprietary software for facility, logistics, contracts, real estate and human resource management) Manage the company's ongoing relationships with national, state and local governmental officials and organizations by monitoring legislation for appropriate comment and action of the respective departments of the company, coordinating the company's communication with governmental officials on various matters and presenting the company's viewpoint on legislative matters. Evaluate the administrative division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals. IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS: A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other related discipline 10 years experience, preferably in the food or hospitality industry Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work 40-60 hours per week and work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate effectively Experience with multi-location companies Strong interpersonal , communication and presentation skills Technology literate with strong emphasis on HRIS systems (ADP) Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints Please upload your resume and cover letter.
