Position open for aspiring chef.

odo is a new high end kaiseki restaurant looking for aspiring chefs. Although we have only been open six months, we have already been reviewed favorably by the New York Times.

One of odo s concepts is to use local, domestic ingredients to create a unique kaiseki experience for our guests. We are seeking individuals who have the passion and drive to innovate and be a key member of our team.

We require dedication and a willingness to learn. Communication, teamwork, and respect for others should be skills you already have.

Job Description:

Cooks will be responsible for helping with preparation before service. Our menu changes every month, and the ingredients we use will change drastically. This position requires basic skills with knives, proper safety and sanitation, and ability to listen to instructions.

During service, you will help with serving and plating guests dishes. Responsibilities will include explaining the dishes to guests. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and experience what kaiseki and Japanese cuisine in general is all about.
